Goodyear welted Spade Sole, hand nailed combination heel, hand-sewn raised apron. The treatment of the sole and heel is identical to that of Florsheim’s alligator shoes of the period.

Florsheim made relatively few Norwegian on the same frame as their flagship Alligator shoes.  This and two or three other examples are the only Florsheims of this kind I have seen over the years. This should speak to the rarity of this model. To find one in this near new condition is extreme good fortune. For the Florsheim aficionado, apart from being a rare and beautiful shoe, this is a true collector’s item.
