Founded on the island of Majorca in I877 by Mestre Antoni Fluxá, Lottusse continues to this day under the leadership of the fourth generation of the Fluxá Family.

Lottusse makes more than one level of shoes and employs various welting methods for their extensive and varied production but shoes from their top line, as shown here, are exclusively Goodyear welted.  The ones we find in Germany or on the internet are not the ones sold in Madrid, where Lottusse is rightfully considered to be a luxury brand.

This particular pair is executed in a truly lovely and uncommon brown shell cordovan. The restrained and elegant presentation of the plain front derby shows off the color and quality of the leather to great advantage. Built on a double Goodyear welted sole and with their proprietary combination heel, this shoe is from their prestige line for the home market, as robust a shoe as it is handsome and certainly among the best of Lottusse’s production. Lottusse’s Cordovan shoes are priced between of Euro 850 and 1100 (plus tax).
