Churchs’ “Custom Grade” is the quality on which their reputation is based; one of the great English shoes…and the few Shell Cordovan they produced are now the coveted prizes of avid collectors.

The Tassel Loafer with hand raised apron is an uncontested classic, a basic in the gentleman’s wardrobe in any leather but all the more elegant and long lasting in shell cordovan, as presented here. I cannot speak to Church’s quality now that it has been taken over by outside conglomerates but this is the old, ironclad Church’s, bench-made, at home in England, and without compromises in build or materials. If this classic is your size, do not hesitate to have it. A shoe for the next 20 year, if not a lifetime.

Superb; original soles have been fitted with new, non-slip, "Vibram" sole protectors and new combination heels, and not worn since. Sold without trees but ask if you require a perfectly fitted pair.
