This elegant single-sole Florsheim Oxford Cap-Toe stands in contrast to Florsheim’s much heavier Budapesters (Derbys). The overall appearance is more delicate and rather sleeker. My old clients have grown weary of hearing me extol the virtues of the vintage Florsheim Imperial Budapesters. This is a handsome business or dress shoe in a rich, deep, highly polished Burgundy Calfskin, a beautiful traditional model, very useful and a basic in the wardrobe. The long line of the shoe with plain toe flatters and slims the foot. In short, both a practical and a representative shoe for the gentleman and nicely finished. Built over a steel shank and Goodyear welted, of course.
