This exceptionally sturdy boot by the pre-war American shoemaker, Star, is a stylistic throw-back to the Navvy Boot worn by Civil Engineers, Canal and Railroad workers at the turn of the century and before but, because of their robustness, adopted by gentlemen for everyday use and by officers in the field. This handsome boot is the particularly well made and is distinguished by the rarely seen double hand sewn welt. The fine-grain calfskin promises true comfort while making this as durable a shoe/boot as any on the market. This is ideal footwear for the present season but protective, attractive and suitable for any and every season. Every gentleman should have at least one rugged boot to depend upon in rough weather or terrain; why not have it be this spectacular tour de force of shoemaking art! While this boot is certainly suitable for country wear -a ideal shoe for shooting, trekking or climbing- it is tremendously handsome worn with jeans or other city gear.

Dieser Schuh ist ein „Navvy Cut“ Engineer Stiefel (6-Ösen/4-Hacken) in feinstem Boxcalf und ist ausgestattet mit einer hand-rahmengenähten Ledersohle und Gummi-Absatz. Garantiert die eleganteste Erscheinung am Berg! Stilistisch ist der Stiefel angelehnt an den hochgeknöpften Schuh, den die “Navigational Engineers” (US) oder “Navigators” (UK) um die Jahrhundertwende trugen. Die Struktur dieses ungeheuer gut gearbeiteten Stiefels und die Unterstützung des Fussgelenkes durch die hohe Form gibt, wie kaum ein anderer Schuh, ein Gefühl der Stabilität im Stehen und im Gehen. Dieser ausserordentlich haltbare, gutaussehende, und äusserst seltene Stiefel ist ein unerlässlicher Schuh für “Town or Country”…..geeignet für Ihre “Landausstattung”, doch genauso hervorragend passend für die Stadt.
