This is the intermediate version of the substantial double-sole Florsheim Full-Brogue Budapester, produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s after the bankruptcy and sale of the Florsheim firm but before the production went off-shore. The smooth finished calfskin stands in contrast to the earlier scotch-grain Imperials and is easilly confused with shell cordovan. Goodyear welted into a channel and sporting Florsheim\’s full rubber heel, this is a handsome traditional model, very useful and a basic in the wardrobe. Both a practical and a representative shoe for the gentleman and nicely finished.
