This Field or “Navvy” Boot is a factory special order based on Edward Green’s 202 Last. Unlike most field boots, the shank of the boot is lined in sheepskin fleece, for extraordinary comfort, without sacrificing the stability of a high-top boot. Certainly a plus in cold weather too. With 4 eyelets and 4 hooks for easy dressing, this is a practical, robust, durable (zug grain resists wear admirably) and ultimately comfortable boot in town just as well as in country, a boot to depend upon in all weather and for decades to come. One hardly needs to point out the fine construction or the quiet elegance of this great classic.

In short, this is a extraordinarily well made boot by a fine English shoemaker and brings with it great tradition. A prize for the collector, and a “must” at half the original store price.
