Out of the over 200 American Shoemakers clustered around New England at the start of the 20 Century, only a handful remains. Cole-Haan, Allen-Edmonds, Alden and J &M are among the very few who produce there own shoes today, now that the venerable Florsheim that produced these shoes has closed its doors. After 35 years, these delightful Loafers/Slippers are a distinct rarity, especially in this condition…near new!

Es handelt sich bei dem angebotenen Paar um einen “Tassel Loafer” (Wing-Tip/ Brogue/Spectator), plus Voll-Ledersohle und Innenfutter der hochwertigen Firma Florsheim. Von den 200 amerikanischen Schuhmachern, die es zu Beginn des vergangenen Jahrhunderts in Neu England gab, ist leider nur eine Handvoll übriggeblieben: Cole-Haan, Allen Edmonds, Alden, und J&M gehören zu den wenigen, die diese Schuhe nur noch herstellen.

Dieser aussergewöhnliche “Spectator-Loafer” besitzt alles; Brouguing, Wing-Tip, und Tassel und besticht daher durch seine wirklich raffinierte Erscheinung.
