Santoni was founded by Andrea and Rosa Santoni in 1975 and today produces four quality lines, the “Classic” line (Blake Stiched) retailing between $600-900, their Goodyear welted line, selling for $1250 in December 2015, their “Fatte a Mano” line, now well over the $1500 and their “Signature” or “Limited Edition” line, entirely hand made and selling at $2000 or above.  The entire Santoni lne is a good choice for  superbly made shoes, very durable, using finest quality leathers, precise detailing inside and out, and very pleasing styling, flattering to the foot without transgressing the limits of the classical. Among the best ready-made shoes from Italy.

The present shoe exceeds even Santoni’s top category, hand welted into a closed channel, as in bespoke shoemaking or the very best ready-made shoes. This shoe is to a great extent, hand-made. It is a lovely warm (and very desirable)”Whisky” color, Horween (Chicago) Shell Cordovan, a fine leather that will reward polishing with a lovely patina.
