This classic evening shoe for your smoking or fancy dress is in a long tradition going back to the Edwardian age and can hardly be improved upon for style or wit or fancy freed.  These are the last word in elegance at home or out on the town, but, of course, can be worn with a wide variety of dress, formal or relaxed, all the way to jeans.

I find this material devilishly hard to photograph. To capture detail I have used camera settings that make it appear gray but the true colour is a deep intense black.
