IHackett London began 35 years ago in the Portobello Road market in London’s Notting Hill where Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings started selling second-hand vintage British clothes. When demand outstripped supply, the partners began making their own clothes in traditional British styles. Today Hackett has a presence in 65 countries.

In June 2019, to mark the 150th anniversary of British Army Polo, Hackett launched the SS19 British Army Polo range and mounted an exhibition at Christie’s documenting 150 years of the sport. Hackett has now opened is new London headquarters for Bespoke Tailoring at No.14 Savile Row, a four-story early Georgian townhouse, giving it a presence on a street known the world over for fine tailoring. No.14 is a historic building, formerly the studio of Sir Hardy Amies, for many years the Queen’s couturier.

The present boot, with it robust, high profile Goodyear welted Commando sole and 360 degree split reverse welt (storm welt), is ready for any terrain or weather, the  correct footwear for hunting or shooting, or simply for tramping in town or country, in great style.
