Bally is a venerable Swiss brand dating from the 19th century, however, to take advantage of the open trading within the EU, much of it production originates from Italy today, . Of course they make lady’s shoes too and my dowager aunt, in the last century, wore only the then Swiss-made Ballys, claiming that they were the only firm that knew how to make shoes; all the others hurt her feet, she said, poor dear.

This present boot is Italian made and from their best level of production (they have more than one standard) and is Goodyear welted. Originally priced at Euro 635. A handsome daytime dress shoe that looks dashing under trousers (and will not hurt your feet!).
