    This is among Florsheim’s most seldom seen offerings, the highly collectible Tuscany Tassel Loafer in Shell Cordovan. In its day, the pride of the Collegiate Set. With hand raised apron,  tradition meets impeccable construction and peerless Horween Shell in this timeless classic model.

    Florsheim was Horween’s number one shell cordovan client for most of the 20th century, out-buying all other customers put together, so the quality of this cordovan can be said to be, simply, the best. This is the original Tuscany  and not to be confused with the calfskin version revivals that came later. For the Florsheim lover, this is an historic collectors item, rarer today than even the already rare “Yuma”; the only one in Shell that I personally have seen in over a decade. In short, the last word in a Florsheim shell cordovan and, yes, it is just a simple loafer, but it is the rarest one you will ever own and one of the most beautiful.

    Florsheim war für den Grossteil des 20. Jahrhunderts Horween’s bester Kunde und kaufte mehr Cordovan-Leder als alle anderen amerikanischen Schuhmacher zusammen. Dieser Schuh trägt die Bezeichnung “Tuscany” und kann daher um die Spät-70-er datiert werden, doch war dieses Modell bereits in den 50-ern existent. Ein Klassiker, eine Antiquität, für alle Florsheim-Liebhaber ein absolutes Sammlerstück, seltener als jeder andere Florsheim-Schuh, einschliesslich aller ultra-seltenen Alligators; kurz, DER Repräsentant in der Welt der Shell Cordovan Loafers.
