This lovely Cap-Toe Oxford, the “Consul”, is Church’s most formal shoe, much in demand and an excellent product, their “Custom Grade ” upon which their reputation is built. It is made of easy to maintain Polished Binder Calf, ideal for evening wear, business wear, or any full dress occasion. It is certainly Church’s most popular model and for good reason. Goodyear welted, of course, with leather sole and combination “McAfee” type dovetailed non-slip heel. The shoe is entirely glove leather lined. This is a supremely elegant shoe and extremely versatile in your wardrobe, a shoe that defines the term “simple elegance”.

Althought the model has been in continuous production even to this day, and once sold for for £395, Euro 550 and US$ 620, the current prices under the new Prada management have gone up an astonishing 40%-50% for the same product, now topping £600, Euro 755, and USD 880.  This is the last moment in history to get your beloved Church’s shoes at something less than even the old prices.
