This small recherché shop operated by Madame Lydie Zadi is located in one of the 16th century half-timbered houses on a cobble stone street of the medieval old town of Troyes in the Champagne-Ardenne region of North-Central France. One of the few purveyors of high quality shoes in the region, Madame Zadi sources the best Goodyear welted products of France and Italy for her renowned shop.
This classic full strap Jodhpurs is an example of that high quality. Utilizing an unusually fine, close-grained, yet robust grade of calfskin, this top-notch Goodyear welted boot with channeled double sole, leather lining and combination heel, is as suitable for casual wear as on horseback. The sleek plain toe shows beautifully under trousers -anything from jeans to full dress- and only you will know that you are wearing boots…that is, until you sit down and your trouser leg rises to reveal these handsome boots. Please note too that the substantial sole and the ankle support of the high top give a sense of stability, standing or walking, that few other shoes provide.
Condition: Superb, very slightly worn. Neuwertig!
