Johnston & Murphy’s version of this classic shoe from their prestige line, the Crown Aristocraft, uses a dramatic last that, somewhat flared at the line of the small toe, reminds one of a custom made shoe and promises to be unusually comfortable. A very lovely midnight blue already showing the rich patina which will come with time. Notice the details at the opening of the shoe; the discreet elastic gusset with tie, the scalloped edge at the ankle, altogether a lovely evening or formal shoe; perfect with your dinner suit or smoking, not to mention jeans! Blue in daylight, blacker than black at night!, it will never fail to draw compliments.
