This particular pair of shoes is another of the great treasures of the period. The quality of the materials, the hand finishing, the high contrast between black caps and white suede body, the fine pinking of the borders, and finally the small waist and generous flaire of the spade sole make this a refined and dramatic statement which few shoes, even the best custom-made can equal. This shoe has my higest recommendation.

Modest wear to the soles, little to the heels. Tiny split at the heel. One or two trivial blemishes, otherwise a superb example of great antique model. Showing remarkably little wear to original soles and heels.
