    Gray-Green Morocco/Goatskin, Cap-Toe Oxford Brogue
    Euro 460

Heschung is one of the few French firms of quality to continue to produce or offer ready-to-wear shoes actually made in France. The others are Charvet, Weston, Corthay, Fenestrier, Vaneau but, against conventional wisdom, not Aubercy or Berluti.)
The present shoe defies all practiced credulity, a tour-de-force in both colour and styling. To call it “one-of-a-kind” hardly does it justice. If “God is in the details”, then this is the work He performed on the Seventh Day, when he should have been resting.. If I have captured the details sufficiently in my photos, you will see details unique to this shoe, zig-zag sewing at the ends of the brogued toe and heel caps, verticle brogueing of the back seam, the quarters made of one piece spanning the vamp, and the oxford lacing set at a distance. None of these features is to be seen in any other Heschung shoe, nor, indeed, in any other brand of shoe of which I am aware.

Colour: A perfect complement to the fanciful design is the very handsome and unusual Gray-Green (on the colour wheel, between a RAL 6011 and a RAL 6016 “May” Green) of the Morocco/Goatskin leather employed. Goatskin is prized for it extraordinary conformity to the foot and, thus, immediate comfort, ideal for anyone with “problem” feet but, truly for anyone who seeks “bedroom slipper” comfort in a shoe.

    Size Details:
