From the heyday of the firm’s American production, long before it resorted to importing its offerings. With its robust Goodyear welted double sole, this full grain cowhide boot competes with any and all motorcycle boots for durability, comfort and support. The choice of three generations of State Troopers who spent 8 and 10 hours shifts in these. Notice the extra long, 10-Eyelet, fully gusseted closure that not only adjust the boot to the foot, but also to the ankle, for positive control when riding. No finer boot for the purpose has ever been made and it is difficult if not impossible to find a pair today in this original condition. The few that remain have been resoled more than once and, while still excellent boots, are not the equal of this untampered-with example. These were made to measure, one prescribed model but fitted to the officers foot and leg. In this case a very standard US 11,5D, medium width foot, (or generous US11D/E) and medium width leg with 16.5” (42cm) shaft, floor to top.

A find, for the rider or collector.
