An extraordinary lovely pair and superlatively well made pair of Half Brogues, absolutely in the English taste by one of the greatest shoemakers in the world, Edward Green …some say the greatest shoe maker, superior to Lobb. I make no judgment between these two titans but the slender lines of Edward Green’s 202 last are very seductive, and the workmanship is indisputably of the highest order. Superb! Very lightly worn. Notice the closed channel Goodyear welt, the sculpted sole (almost a spade sole) and the combination "McAffee" style dovetail heel; this is a very well made shoe, what you would expect from this great maker.
