This lovely Scotch (or Pebble) Grain Half Brogue is a contemporary Crockett production for Polo’s flagship boutiques in New York, San Francisco and London. Designed by Ralph Lauren and fabricated by Crockett on a level of finish approaching their best quality shoe, their “Hand Grade”. The choice of leather is lovely.
I repeat, this shoes was intended for inclusion in Polo’s boutique line and not to be confused with their several lesser offerings. Goodyear welted, of course, with, in this case, leather sole protected by a new, thin non-slip “Topy’ rubber sole and new, combination “McAffee” dove-tailed heel.
About the model: This is an ideal shoe to wear when surveying your country estate in your baggy tweeds or knickerbockers, but equally suitable for daytime wear in town, sporting but still elegant. Of course perfect with a blue blazer and flannel “bags”, not to mention any casual dress; kakis, tweeds, checks, corduroys or any earth-tones suitings, a shoe, to be sure, in the English taste and one that absolutely distinguishes the wearer. An elegant, comfortable and finely made shoe and a Euro 650+ value.
Size: US 8.5D (UK 7.5E) (Continental 41.5D), for the medium-width foot.
Condition: Excellent, never worn after restoration.

Dieser wunderschöne Halb-Brogue ist Crockett’s bester Qualitätsschuh, auf einer Ebene mit dem “Hand Grade” – natürlich rahmengenäht mit Vollleder-Sohle plus neuem Gummi halb-Sohle und Kombinations-Absatz.
Weiteres zu diesem Modell: Ein idealer Schuh, wenn Sie das Land oder Ihren Landsitz besuchen, kombiniert mit weiten Tweeds (“baggy tweeds”) oder “knickerbockers”, jedoch genauso passend als Tagesschuh für die Stadt. Er ist DER saloppe Tagesschuh. Natürlich mehr als perfekt zu Ihrem blauen Blazer und zu Ihren “Flannels” UND zu allen saloppen Gelegenheiten, zu denen sie sich in Ihren Kakis, Tweeds, Checks, Cordroys und jedweden Erdtönen am Wohlsten fühlen.
