    In 1885 Ludwig Reiter I, with his wife Anna established their first workrooms in Vienna’s 4th District.  Within a few years they were providing custom-made boots and welted shoes for the Officers and Guardsmen of the Keiser.

    Today, in the 4th generation of family ownership, Ludwig Reiter employs 60 skilled artisans, owns and operates 13 stores in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and sells their product through a further 200 shops and boutiques throughout Europe, Japan and America and is rightly considered to be among the finest shoemakers of central Europe.

    The present pair is a charming Suede Half Brogue in a fine grade of full-grain  calfskin, in just the right colour of medium brown, the ideal contrast with a variety of dress and is correct for town or country. One does not need to comment on Reiter’s robust build quality; this is a shoes intended to serve for decades to come.

    Ready-to-wear Reiter shoes are in th 600-700 Euro range, plus MwS (VAT).

    Size Details:

    US 9.5D (UK8.5E) (Continental 42.5 D), for the medium width foot.

    Shoe Condition:

    Soles original and covered with a protetive all-weather rubber sole. Heel replaced with non-slip rubber heels. Uppers are somewhat soiled and can do with a good shampooing. .
