Brown Calf Skin over Olive Green South American Collared Peccary
This is a custom-made shoe, extremely well made, with a beautifully hand sewn welt, additional 360 degree Storm welt (Split Reverse Welt) and a quality of Crepe Sole that is superior to anything I have otherwise experianced; it is both resistant to scuffing or gathering dust like most crepe and yet quite soft, for true comfort. A handsome shoe, no doubt made to last, and as fit for inclement weather as fair.
The collared peccary (Pecari tajacu) is a species of mammal in the family Tayassuidae found in North, Central, and South America. It is also known as the Javelina, or Tayaussa. They are called javelina because of their razor-sharp tusks. Javelina is Spanish for javelin or spear.
