Roblee, one of the great erstwhile American Shoemakers, was founded in 1908 in Syracuse, New York and remained in existence for almost exactly 50 years. They produced an excellent quality shoe, similar to those of Hanover and Florsheim. Because of the patented mesh spectators they purveyed to other firms, they played an important role in the history of the American shoemaking.

This vintage Full Brogue Monk Strap Loafer by Roblee is superior in build and finish than most shoes on the market today. This is an indestructible, Goodyear welted Shoe with oak-tanned sole. The build quality competes with Florsheim’s best. The buckle is decorative and the elastic under the vamp allows for easy on and off without unbuckling the buckle.
