BOYT Harness Company, founded 1901, was known for outback and sporting luggage and especially for their rifle and handgun carrying cases. The were merged with the giant US manufacturer Hartmann which was itself acquired by the even larger firm, Samsonite.  Original BOYD models have long since been retired or reproduced offshore in less robust form. This case is, of course, an original.

This massive leather Brief-Attaché case in full-grain calf, features 7 compartments, 5 inside with 2 zipping compartments and 2 outside for easy access. Seven in all; unequaled in the trade. The overall volume when full is that of a small suitcase (as shown in pictures), while reducing to a very modest briefcase profile. This is a terrifically practical case for daily use or for the occasional overnight travel.
