The model itself, the Plain Front Derby is a great classic, a once ubiquitous American business man’s style that traverses the 20th century, even unto this day. Like all Cordovan Oxfords, it (literally) walks the line between a dressy shoe (because of the plain toe) and a sporting shoe (because of the oxblood undertones of the leather. A vintage shoe, with its painstakingly tanned leather from Horween of Chicago, this leather has and will stand the test of time. This is an absolute classic model in the old tradition of workmanship, a handsome and extremely durable shoe.
