The present shoe, in finely matched alligator skins and Goodyear welted into a protective channeled, competes with most English, American or other Continental product in build quality. Meanwhile the modified „chisel toe“ affords this handsome shoe a sleeker and more elegant silhouette than seen in many heavier and rounder American or English examples or in the characteristic toe-cap of the Austrian-German-Hungarian style.
