Thise really rather spectacular brief case, with its generous expanses of full quill ostrich leather show off the charm and individuality of this exceptional material. Every external part of this case, including the gussets are made of ostrich, artfully employed. This is a two compartment case with a third zippered central compartment and even a fourth zippered external compartment, all very practical for so extraordinarily glamorous an object.  For yourself or as a marvelous gift for someone special, this is a one-of-a-kind treasure, not to be soon encountered again.

The very existence of the ostrich suggests that evolution had the modern fashion industry in mind when developing such extravagance or, indeed, that God had a sense of humor when he (or she) was designing nature’s cast of characters. Otherwise what possible reason could there be for the existence of such a flamboyant creature as the ostrich, but to amuse us much more commonplace creatures.

Actually, ostriches are very more than mere entertainment. Very useful indeed, they are farmed today far and wide, with some 250 farms in the US alone. Ostriches produce what is said to be a very healthful meat, in addition to their production of eggs, leather, feathers for fashion and decoration, and, not least, though less well known, oil for both the cosmetic and food industries.

The present case, was made up on special order by an unknown workshop. It employs hides of best quality and, as is obvious in the photos, to the full dramatic effect of this glamorous material. Measurements: 17″ (430mm) X 11-3/4″ (300 mm)
