  Out of the over 200 American Shoemakers clustered around New England at the start of the 20 Century, only a handful remains. Cole-Haan, Allen-Edmonds, Alden and J &M are among the very few who produce there own shoes today, now that the venerable Florsheim that produced these shoes has closed its doors. After 25 years, these delightful Loafers/Slippers are a distinct rarity, especially in this condition…like new!
