  This is Florsheim’s rarest offering, the highly collectible Drexel Penny Loafer in Shell Cordovan. In its day, the pride of the Collegiate Set. With handsewn moccasin vamp, tradition meets impeccable construction and peerless Horween Shell in this timeless classic model.

  Florsheim was Horween’s number one shell cordovan client for most of the 20th century, out-buying all other customers put together, so the quality of this cordovan can be said to be, simply, the best. This is the original Drexel  and not to be confused with the calfskin version revivals that came later. For the Florsheim lover, this is an historic collectors item, rarer today than any other Florsheim shoe, including the ultra-rare alligators –the only one in Shell that I personally have seen in over a decade. In short, the last word in a Florsheim shell cordovan and, yes, it is just a simple loafer, but it is the rarest one you will ever own and one of the most beautiful.

  8D US.....7 UK.....Continental: 41D, for the medium width foot. Difficult to find in any size, almost impossible in this small size. No doubt among the last of its kind in captivity.
