This is a close copy of the WWII Combat Boots made under military contract to the U.S. Government by the International Shoe Co. for the U.S. Army. With its Goodyear welted double sole, this promises to be boot to serve handsomely in town or country, with a wide variety of dress. Taking its cue from extreme purpose engineering of the Infantry combat boot of the mid-century, this boot is made to serve in places from which there is no return, no second chance, far from home: a soldier’s boot.
